Why Does the Bible Talk about God's Kingdom as a Place of Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit?
Greetings my fellow True Love Family Circle members. Welcome to my fourth and fifth peace message in search of a new Liberian tribe capable of fulfilling the unfulfilled destiny for our nation. Today I want for us to discuss why heaven views the ideal world as a place of righteousness, peace and joy.
Let us first read together a sample of seventeen biblical verses linked to our 17 Tribes (16 plus 1). These verses are taken from the old and new testament. Notice how they all talk about God's Kingdom and righteousness:
OLD TESTAMENT AGE VERSES (LINKED TO JUDAISM & ISLAM):
1. Pro_11:19 As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.
2. Deu_6:25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
3. Deu_9:4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee (Liberia's war was our chastisement for unrighteousness of our leaders)
4. Psa_85:10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
5. Isa_11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
6.Isa_45:13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
7. Jer_33:16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
NEW TESTAMENT AGE VERSES (LINKED TO CHRISTIANITY):
8. Mat_5:10;6:33: Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven....but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
9.Rom_5:21;6:16: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord...Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
10. Gal_2:21;3:6: I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain... Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
11. 1Ti_6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12. Heb_1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
13. Jas_3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
14. 2Pe 3:12-13 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
15. Jn_3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
16. Rev_19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
17. Rev_19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
MY REFLECTION ON THESE VERSES:
Reflecting on these verses I believe the following:
1. Clearly God's ideal of His kingdom on earth is a democratic society where good governance prevails:This is the same as the Golden Rule of all religions expressed in Christianity as: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" Mt 7:12. Thus Heb 1:8 refers to the scepter of God's Kingdom as righteousness. This scepter is similar to the Rod of Iron mentioned by John in Rev 2:27,12:5,19:15. In all of these verse we get the understanding God is not willing to deviate from His rule of righteousness, This might be the reason Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden (Kingdom of Heaven on Earth) in the first place. They acted unrighteously by disobeying God's words. They also lost their blood relationship with God.
2. But since governments are managed by human beings, the goodness of government is directly linked to the righteousness of its citizens: In any given society a minority rules the majority. Historically as democracy grew (from Greek to Roman culture) through the ages, city-state developed into nation-states . I believe the final structure of statehood on earth will be a one world global state centered on God's ideal of good governance. The current global system of nation-states is gradually crumbing to make way for a new heaven and new earth where righteousness will prevail (II Peter 3:12-13). But without righteous people on earth representing God's lineage how will this transition workout to the benefit of heaven?
3. Thus the focus of God's Kingdom on earth has to be the salvation, restoration or resurrection of all human beings as true children of God: We can not have a new heaven or earth without new people. Since the fall of Adam and Eve, we were all born as children of the Devil, meaning unrighteous (John 8:44) naturally evil. This can not change by magic. After Adam and Eve failed to believe Gods words (don't eat the fruit) they became the tabernacle of Satan on earth (instead of God) and bore all of us as children of the Devil. The only way for God to counter this tragic mistake was to set up a plan to send another Adam to undo the mistake of the first Adam (I Cor 15:21). This was the mission of Lord Jesus Christ as the Lord of the First Coming.
At this point it is important to realize that Adam & Eve were meant to be God's physical body on earth via which God himself would have: 1.Dwell on earth with man as our True Parents (Father God...Adam and Mother God...Eve); 2. Born us as His true children (Sinless children); 3. And raised us all to reflect His mind and heart (perfect like God Mt 5:48). With Adam's failure Lord Jesus was sent as the Only Begotten Son of God to fulfill this responsibility. Regrettably the failure of the 1st chosen people (the Nation of Israel) to recognize Jesus as the Messiah led to His death and the destruction of Israel as a nation. This required the need for Lord Jesus to return in the flesh. In 1920 through the birth of Rev Dr. Sun Myung Moon (a Korean Christian child), God fulfilled his promise to send Lord Jesus again. In 1936 Lord Moon was anointed by Lord Jesus Himself. Just like Mose's second set of tablets (with the Ten Commandments) were prepared by Mose not God, we can understand that the Lord of the Second Coming does not have to be "Only Begotten' like Lord Jesus. His only key credentials needed to identify him are "the Word of God" as mentioned in Rev 19:13. Thus began the final stage of human salvation, restoration and resurrection. After reading the Divine Principle of Father Moon in 1979 I realized immediately He was the Second Coming of my Lord Jesus Christ.
IN SUMMARY:
We should now be able to realize why the bible speaks highly of righteousness as compared to unrighteousness. Righteousness is "the quality of a person which leads him/her to pursue goodness and further its purpose"(p. 40 Divine Principle). This quality can be compared to God's blood lineage. This blood lineage was lost with the fall of Adam & Eve. According to the bible when one reaches perfection as God in Heaven (Mt 5:48), we cannot SIN even if we wanted to. Why is this? Because any thought or action towards sinning (again God's Will) would generate in our body the same pain felt by God. In this way a perfect man or woman is the physical manifestation of God in the flesh ( a cell in the body of God). Today Christians and Unificationist believe Lord Jesus was the first perfect male human being on earth, thus he was referred to as "Only Begotten". But today Unificationist are introducing Dr Hak-ja Han-Moon as the first perfect female human being (True Mother or God the Mother) on earth and thus we refer to Her as the "Only Begotten Daughter of God".
CONCLUSION:
In my next peace message we will discuss the essence of human salvation, resurrection and restoration and how it is linked to substantiating God's Kingdom on earth especially here in Africa and Liberia. Please feel free to leave your comments below. Don't forget to join the conversation. Love you all forever
